Recently, former 60 Minutes producer Ira Rosen has been making some pretty bombshell revelations, mostly in connection to his book that shines a light on the inner workings of the popular late-night Sunday news show as well as attempts to clean up some of his personal and professional reputations. Political Tribune even reported on the secret nickname former President Donald Trump once had for his old mistress, Karen McDougal, that was revealed by Rosen and was enough to make your skin want to crawl off your bones.

Now, more revelations have made their way to the light via the ex-producer of the popular late-night show. However, this particular detail is less skeevy and disgusting, but a whole lot more serious than his gag-inducing pet name for the woman he was having an affair with.

Rosen made an appearance on the Skullduggery podcast, in which he revealed to the hosts of the show that Steve Bannon, during his time in the White House, felt that then-President Trump was suffering from “early-stage dementia” and would go on to launch a secret, behind the scenes effort to remove Donald from the presidency via the 25th amendment.

Bannon served as Trump’s White House’s chief strategist for the first 7 months of his term.

“[Bannon] didn’t want to talk about it on ’60 Minutes’ at the time… but he had laid out the record at that time,” Rosen stated on the podcast. “This was a period of time where he had great frustrations with Trump.”

“Trump was kind of throwing him under the bus a little,” the former producer went on. “There was a Time magazine portrait of Bannon, of the person who got Trump secretly elected, and Trump took a lot of sh*t for that from his New York friends. He kind of turned on Bannon and Bannon was a little on the outs in this period of time.”

“Bannon realized that Trump was repeating the same stories over and over again… and Bannon wanted to do something about it,” Rosen added, going on to note that Bannon was allegedly of the belief that he could take over the right-wing movement from Donald Trump.

You can listen to what Rosen had to say in the podcast here, these particular revelations begin around the 16:45 mark:
