A Staff Writer For The New Yorker Posted Footage Of What They Said Was The Trump Hotel Lobby And It Appeared To Be Completely Empty

It looks to me like Trump has been abandoned.

Donald Trump’s new life as a private American citizen doesn’t seem to be going all that well for him. Banks and various other entities are no longer interested in doing business with him and are rapidly cutting ties with the man who wreaked havoc on this nation for four long, hard years (yet his numerous loans certainly aren’t going away with them), he’s not getting an airport named after him like he really wanted, his properties are voting unanimously to drop his brand name from their buildings in the wake of the Capitol insurrection, and the value of his Manhattan properties has plummeted by half. To say the least, pretty much everything that can go wrong for the guy has gone wrong in his first few days as an average Joe.

We knew that Trump wouldn’t be well-received in the real world once his time in the White House was up. Honestly, I think he knew that too. But I’ll be the first to admit that the shunning of all things Trump has happened quicker than even I expected.

Recently, Jane Mayer, staff writer for The New Yorker, took to her Twitter account with what she claims is video footage of the Washington D.C. Trump Hotel lobby — and if the footage is legitimate like she claims, it’s a sad, sad state of affairs for Mr. Trump.

The video shows what appears to be the lobby of the Trump Hotel in Washington D.C. (a quick Google image search seems to what the inside of the lobby looks like) and it’s completely deserted. Quite literally, not a single soul to be seen, short of whoever was shooting the video.

Mayer captioned the video, “Trump Hotel, DC – Looks like they drained the swamp.”

We’re unable to verify with 100% certainty what time of day the video was shot, if there was a particular reason for the lack of human beings in the lobby, or even if it actually is the lobby of the Trump Hotel, though it certainly does appear to be. However, if the rest of Trump’s luck in his first days as a private citizen is any indicator, then it just looks like his D.C. hotel is going the way of everything else — straight to Hell.

Was the crisis in Afghanistan surrounding the pull out of American Troops Biden's fault or Trump's fault?
