Things have been getting sticky for ex-president Donald Trump when it comes to the investigations raging against him and his family business in his home state of New York. In recent weeks, not only has the Trump Organization itself been slapped with indictments hailing from Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vanceโs investigation, the companyโs Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg was hurt with a staggering 15 indictments, resulting in Weisselberg turning himself over to authorities.
However, with all of that said, something has yet to break against Donald J. Trump himself โ no indictments, no charges. But it looks like one key witness in the NY investigation is about to change that.
According to a bombshell report from The Daily Beast, who spoke with two different unnamed sources with knowledge on the matter, Allen Weisselbergโs own former daughter-in-law, Jennifer Weisselberg, recently sat for a teleconference interview call with investigators. In that interview, Jennifer reportedly directly implicated the former president in the financial and tax schemes going on within the Trump Organization.
Jennifer used to be married to Allenโs son Barry, who also worked for the Trump Organization, and she claims that Donald Trump personally guaranteed her that he would cover the costs of school for the family members of two company employees in lieu of a traditional raise.

During the Zoom call interview with investigators, Jennifer was allegedly asked directly if Trump himself was personally involved in any of the companyโs numerous tax-dodging schemes of giving corporate gifts rather than taxable raises.
Jennifer said yes.
To make matters worse for the corrupt ex-president, Jennifer didnโt stop there. The ex-daughter-in-law of the companyโs CFO went on to give investigators key details regarding the scheme.
The Daily Beast report reads:
In January 2012, inside Trumpโs office at Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue, Jennifer Weisselberg watched as Trump discussed compensation with her husband and her father-in-law, both company employees. Her husband wouldnโt be getting a raise, but their children would get their tuition paid for at a top-rated private academy instead.โ
Jennifer allegedly told investigators that Trump turned to her directly and said, โDonโt worry, Iโve got it covered.โ
According to one source, prosecutors were astonished.
If Jenniferโs statement was true and the sources giving The Beast their accounts of the interview are correct, this ties ex-president Donald Trump directly into what a New York criminal indictment described as a corporate scheme to pay executives โin a matter that was โoff the books.'โ
