Karoline Leavitt praised Susie Wiles’ loyalty to Donald Trump, calling her the president’s “most loyal advisor,” and highlighting her role in what she described as the “most successful first 11 months in office of any President in American history.”
The praise, however, drew a quick response from Ron Filipkowski on X, who offered a pointed reaction to Leavitt’s post.

Leavitt, the White House press secretary, posted the glowing remarks about Wiles, saying the entire administration was “grateful for her steady leadership” and “united fully behind her.” She stressed that Wiles had been instrumental in guiding Trump’s agenda, painting the chief of staff as both indispensable and fiercely loyal.

But not everyone was convinced.
I don’t believe anything she ever says, but I’d like to see a reporter ask her why the construction of Trump’s ballroom is a matter of national security. pic.twitter.com/jdhNGbdhhb

The exchange highlights the growing scrutiny on Wiles, who has stayed largely out of the public eye despite her significant influence.
Vanity Fair’s recent profile revealed that Wiles rarely grants interviews, making the praise from Leavitt one of the few public acknowledgments of her power.
Wiles runs the day-to-day operations in Trump’s White House and is praised for keeping things organized, even with all the controversies around the president.
Leavitt described Wiles as a steadying force, but some say she’s also part of Trump’s tougher moves, like going after political rivals. Wiles herself said, “when there’s an opportunity, he will go for it,” showing Trump is willing to act against those he sees as enemies.
