Attendance At Trump’s Recent NC Rally Was Humiliatingly Dismal At Under 2K People, A Pathetic Fraction Of The Attention He Drew At The Same Venue In 2016, According To New Report

Over the weekend, disgraced ex-President Donald Trump held another one of his MAGA turned “Save America” rallies, this time in Selma, North Carolina. The entire thing was chock full of the same old tired ass talking points he’s been peddling for what feels like a lifetime, to the point that I swear, I nearly could have matched him word for word at this point.

And now it seems that those of us over here on the Left aren’t the only ones growing tired of Trump’s incessant, repetitive drivel, as a new report indicates that the former guy’s turnout at this weekend’s event was beyond dismal — boasting less than 2,000 people in the crowd. To make matters that much worse still for the one-term, twice-impeached wash-up, the pathetically tiny crowd he saw on Saturday was a fraction of the attention he drew at the very same venue back in 2016.

Local Raleigh-based outlet, The News & Observer, reports that a measly 1,000 to 2,000 people ultimately showed up at Trump’s “Save America” rally this weekend. This paltry crowd downright pales in comparison to the approximately 15,000 who showed up in support of the now-former guy when he held a MAGA rally at the very same venue in 2016, during his first run at the White House.

In complete fairness, the 2016 event at the venue in question was held just days before the 2016 presidential election, when Trump was still fresh on the scene and full of promises he wouldn’t go on to keep. However, this positively dismal turnout is certainly further proof that Trump, no matter how hard he tries, is not the “man” he once was on the Republican party scene. Since his 2016 rally, he has been impeached twice, found himself embroiled in countless lawsuits and investigations that he keeps losing at every turn, been banned from every reputable social media site from Facebook to Twitter and everything in between, lost his second run at the White House, and has spent the last year and a half pushing his Big Lie election conspiracy theories that even the Right is rapidly growing tired of.

Frankly, your 15-minutes of fame was over hours ago, Donald. And it’s really starting to show.
