Attorney For Trump Assault Victim Goes Scorched Earth On Scandal-Ridden Ex-President As Donald Demands A Do-Over Defamation And S*xual Abuse Trial

Enough is enough.

Earlier this month, scandal-ridden former President Trump dramatically called for a do-over trial in world-renowned writer E. Jean Carroll’s defamation and sexual abuse case against him — the very same trial in which the disgraced former guy lost, was found liable for defaming and sexually abusing Carroll in a Manhattan department store dressing room in the 90s, and was ordered to pay out a whopping $5M in damages to his victim.

Trump, of course, was quick to pitch a fit over this court loss, asserting in a court filing that the monetary damages should be much lower because the jury did not find that Carroll was raped by Trump and the writer was not diagnosed with a mental injury as a result of the alleged assault and subsequent defamation.

Carroll’s legal team is having no part of it.

In a court filing delivered by the Carroll legal team today, lawyers for the world-renowned writer shot back at the shamed and dishonored former president.

Attorney Roberta Kaplan wrote in the scathing court filing, “Trump’s motion is nothing more than his latest effort to obfuscate the import of the jury’s verdict by engaging in his own particular Trump-branded form of magical thinking.”

Kaplan went on to note that the scandal-plagued ex-president was blatantly attempting to blow off and ignore the fact that he was found liable in a court of law for sexually abusing and subsequently defaming E. Jean Carroll.

“Once again, Trump has the nerve to claim public vindication from the jury in this case when, in fact, the jury determined that he penetrated Carroll’s vagina with his fingers without her consent and then defamed her last year,” Kaplan’s court filing, on Carroll’s behalf, reads.

Of course, Donald’s court battle with his assault victim is only one of countless legal mountains the ex-president is facing right now. In a matter of weeks, Donald Trump has now been formally indicted not once, but twice, on both state and federal changes that include multiple felonies, which could add up to a life sentence behind bars for his crimes, as well as additional investigations by the DOJ into the January 6th Capitol insurrection and Fulton County DA Fani Willis’ criminal investigation into Trump’s attempts to overthrow the 2020 presidential election in the state of Georgia.
