Barr Vs. Trump Feud Is About To Get Even Nastier After The Former AG Compared “Troubled” Ex-President To “A Defiant 9-Year-Old”

Trump will NOT handle this well.

It’s certainly no secret that scandal-ridden former President Donald Trump has not been on friendly terms with his now-former Attorney General Bill Barr for quite some time now. Of course, Trump’s animosity toward the former head of the DOJ came as a result of Barr growing a modicum of a spine in the aftermath of the dramatic 2020 presidential election, and ultimately refusing to comply with Trump’s election lies, conspiracy theories, and coup plots, taking with him the power of the US Justice Department that Donald was so desperate to harness in his favor.

Now, even nearly 3 years removed from that infamous election loss and subsequent blow-up that resulted in Barr’s resignation from the DOJ, the feud between the two has shown no signs of slowing down. In fact, it’s about to get a hell of a lot worse, after Donald gets wind of Bill’s latest public dig.

Barr rocked Trump’s world recently when he publicly commented on the brutal and historical 37-count felony indictment against the disgraced former president that was handed down by DOJ Special Counsel Jack Smith, with the former AG publicly declaring that his old Dear Leader was “toast” if even half of Smith’s 37-count indictment shakes out to be true. This, of course, earned Barr a week’s worth of public scorn from the pathetic former guy, complete with all of the nasty personal insults Donnie’s walnut brain could cook up.

But, it seems Bill Barr finally had enough here recently, when he sat for a bombshell interview with CBS News’ Robert Costa and held absolutely nothing back. In his no-holds-barred sit down with Costa, Barr made it crystal clear to the world that Donald J. Trump has no one but himself to blame for the legal predicament he’s in that could potentially add up to a life sentence in prison.

“This is not a circumstance where he’s the victim or this is government overreach,” the former Trump-era attorney general said without mincing his words. “He provoked this whole problem himself. Yes, he’s been the victim of unfair witch hunts in the past. But that doesn’t obviate the fact that he’s also a fundamentally flawed person who engages in reckless conduct. And that leads to situations, calamitous situations like this, which are very destructive and hurt any political cause he’s associated with.”

Trying to save a little face, it seems, Barr did add that his old boss — the man he remained criminally devout to until the 11th hour of Donald’s tumultuous presidency — has “many good qualities” and “accomplished some good things,” but noted that Trump’s actions, decisions, and behaviors ultimately put the entire Republican party at risk.

“He is a consummate narcissist and he constantly engages in reckless conduct that puts his political followers at risk and the conservative and Republican agenda at risk,” Barr admitted.

Eventually, Costa asked the former attorney general if he believed Donald Trump lied to the Department of Justice, to which Barr answered, “Yes, I do.”

But that wasn’t even the most brutal portion of what Barr had to say — That came with this fiery assessment of his old boss:

He will always put his own interests and gratifying his own ego ahead of everything else, including the country’s interests. There’s no question about it. This is a perfect example of that. He’s like a 9-year-old — a defiant 9-year-old kid who’s always pushing the glass toward the edge of the table, defying his parents to stop him from doing it. It’s a means of self-assertion and exerting his dominance over other people. And he’s a very petty individual who will always put his interests ahead of the country’s, his personal gratification of his ego. But our country can’t be a therapy session for a troubled man like this.”
