Barron Trump turned 20 this year, and according to Forbes, that also makes him richer than his mother.
The $150 million figure traces back to World Liberty Financial, the crypto venture Barron co-founded in 2024 with his father and brothers Eric and Don Jr. Forbes estimates the company has added more than $1.5 billion to the family’s combined wealth. Barron’s share lands around 10%, pulled from an estimated 30% stake split among the three brothers, sitting beneath Trump’s own reported 70% ownership of the holding company, DT Marks DeFi LLC.
His token allocation runs to roughly 2.25 billion WLFI coins.
By last August, the venture had sold about $675 million worth of tokens, putting an estimated $38 million after taxes in Barron’s pocket from that piece alone. Additional money came from the USD1 stablecoin launch and a $717 million token purchase by healthcare firm Alt5 Sigma.

Melania’s own number is a lot harder to pin down.
Hello Magazine reported $70 million. Celebrity Net Worth put it at $50 million. Forbes’ own family ranking from last September had her closer to $20 million. None of those figures fully capture money she’s made on her own, including an Amazon documentary deal, a bestselling memoir, a jewelry line, and a media licensing agreement worth tens of millions combined. Pick whichever number you like. All of them land under her son’s.
The math didn’t sit well with Reddit.
“A net worth of $150 million, and he’s never worked a day in his life,” one user wrote. Another wasn’t buying the entrepreneur framing at all. “What a genius, he must be a million% smarter and hardworking than every other 20yo guy, I wonder what kind of business this little genius succeed on with no help of his daddy money or influences.”
There’s a smaller business in the mix too, just dwarfed by everything else.
Barron is one of five listed partners behind SOLLOS Yerba Mate, which sells a Pineapple + Coconut 12-pack for $39.
A family source described his broader ambitions to People back in March. “Barron has inherited his father’s interest in making money and a name for himself, and is well on the way to becoming an entrepreneur,” the source said. “He is smart, focused, and resourceful. He is always looking for areas that interest him and is quite ambitious for such a young age.”
Trump has said more than once that Barron is who got him interested in crypto to begin with. That claim reads differently now that his son’s stake in the industry has grown large enough to outpace his own mother’s entire net worth.
