The youngest daughter of Donald Trump usually stays out of the public eye. But her stepmother, Melania Trump, skipped the Miami shower, leaving many to talk.
The party on April 6, 2025, was hosted by Tiffany’s half-sister, Ivanka Trump. It had a Peter Rabbit theme and celebrated Tiffany expecting a boy. Marla Maples, Tiffany’s mother, was there, along with Lara Trump and Bettina Anderson, wives of Tiffany’s half-brothers. Donald Trump and Melania were absent.
Sources told People that Melania had other plans. She was spending time with her son, Barron Trump, who splits time between New York City and Washington, D.C.
“Melania has her own schedule, even on weekends,” a source said. “She was spending time with her son, Barron, and was busy with family matters of her own.”

The absence surprised many since Tiffany has reportedly been Melania’s favorite stepdaughter. Still, insiders say the exact relationship is unclear.
At the shower, Tiffany and Ivanka wore matching blue outfits for the gender reveal. Tiffany is having a son, Alexander Trump Boulos, born on May 15, 2025. She shared photos from the shower and thanked Ivanka for organizing it.
“Such a special day celebrating our very soon-to-be son! 🩵 1 month to go! Thank you to my big sis @ivankatrump for planning the most beautiful baby shower, we love you,” Tiffany wrote.
Marla Maples also shared memories from Tiffany’s childhood and expressed her happiness about welcoming her grandson.
“Reveling in the beauty of motherhood… This dance of life that brings so much joy and purpose. Watching my special girl prepare to become a mother, my heart overflows. Soon, she will hold her own child in her arms and experience this eternal love,” Marla wrote.

Since Donald Trump’s second term began, Tiffany has mostly stayed private. She focuses on her family life with husband Michael Boulos and baby Alexander. The couple married on November 12, 2022, at Mar-a-Lago and announced Tiffany’s pregnancy in December 2024.
Even without Melania, Tiffany enjoyed the day with family. Ivanka hosted, Marla was there, and Tiffany got to celebrate her son. Social media quickly filled with congratulations for the couple.
