‘Care Home Incoming’: Trump Critics Pounce On Viral Video Shared By Top Aide

Donald Trump spent Monday at General Motors’ Milford Proving Ground outside Detroit, becoming the first sitting president to visit the historic facility. He watched drag races, talked manufacturing, signed a Corvette, and danced to YMCA on stage.

Margo Martin, his aide, filmed all of it, captioned it “Trump Dance takes Michigan,” and posted it to X.

What followed was not quite what she had in mind.

“Care home incoming,” one user wrote.

Another suggested the moves were “a horrible side effect to one of his medications.”


A third skipped the medical commentary entirely: “He really needs new material.”

Others were less interested in the dancing itself than in what it represented at a time when many Americans are still feeling the pressure of elevated costs. “It’s not as fun when we are all poor and miserable,” one person posted.

“Not a good look @POTUS @realDonaldTrump when millions are suffering with high gas and grocery prices,” wrote another.

The dancing wasn’t the only moment people noticed.

Martin also shared another clip from the visit. It showed Trump leaning over the hood of a white Corvette built specially to mark America’s 250th birthday, knees turned inward, legs slightly bent, back arched, pausing mid signature before slowly readjusting his feet and pulling himself upright.

The reactions shifted almost instantly.

“He is an elderly man, show some consideration. Otherwise, he might just collapse right here,” one person wrote.


Another asked: “Why does infirm grandpa stupid look like he’s taking a dump? Probably is. Incontinence, incompetence, and insanity are all b—–s.”

Away from social media, the visit carried genuine significance.

Trump became the first commander in chief to set foot at GM’s Milford Proving Ground, a 4,000 acre facility that has tested American vehicles since 1924. He watched live drag races between Corvettes and Cadillacs, delivered a speech declaring that “Michigan is thriving” and “America is winning like never before,” and appeared alongside Representative John James and Senate candidate Mike Rogers eight days before Michigan’s August 4 primary, where he has endorsed James in the gubernatorial race.

One familiar face also kept turning up throughout the day.

Natalie Harp, who has become a near constant presence around Trump in recent months, appeared once again. Aaron Rupar posted footage of her stepping off Marine One just behind Trump before the Michigan trip, and the day before she had been photographed accompanying him back to the White House after two straight days of golf.
