The Chinese Spy Balloon fiasco we witnessed in real-time across the country last week will undoubtedly be something that goes down in history — along with all of the other insane, historical events this generation has managed to live through. From coast to coast, Americans worked themselves into a tizzy of tensions and controversy, as the suspected spying apparatus floated it’s way across US air space.
The alleged spying device deployed by the Chinese government even got more than a handful of Right-wing congresspeople up in arms, as they unsurprisingly disagreed with the way our Executive branch of government was handling the matter. And that, of course, doesn’t even touch the multiple massive meltdowns former President Trump had over the matter.
Ultimately, the balloon was shot down by US military officials over the ocean just off the Carolina coast, and officials made quick work of gathering up the remnants of the alleged spying device to hopefully determine what sort of intelligence, if any, was collected by the Chinese government with the balloon — all in accordance and compliance with President Biden’s orders on the matter.
But, for all that upset across the nation, it turns out that, apparently, this was far from the first time that China has floated an intelligence-collecting device over the United States.

Recently, CNN reported on an excerpt they obtained hailing from a 2019 intelligence report issued by the U.S. Air Force, in which they determined that a “high altitude balloon” had flown over the United States, including coverage over the states of Hawaii and Florida. In case you missed that date, the intelligence report seems to confirm that a Chinese Spy Balloon floated through US airspace, over the state of Florida specifically, when Florida’s finest himself, Donald J. Trump, was the sitting United States president.
This new revelation serves as confirmation that this whole Chinese spy balloon thing isn’t actually new at all.
The Air Force report, issued in April 2022, stated that China “deployed multiple [high altitude balloons] that can operate at 65,000ft – 328,000 ft and for months at a time.” The Air Force also confirmed in the report that a balloon “circumnavigated the globe” back in 2019 and “drifted past Hawaii and across Florida before continuing its journey” at an altitude of at least 65,000 feet.
According to CNN’s report on the new development, documents confirm that no less than three similar balloon devices made their way through US airspace during Donald Trump’s presidential term, as well as an additional balloon that came through at the very beginning of President Biden’s term. The reports indicate that the US military has already been operating with not only an awareness of the balloon devices but an understanding of their operations and capabilities.
Before the release of these findings, White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan released a statement saying that President Biden’s order “to increase both our vigilance and the assets that we were deploying to be able to detect Chinese efforts to spy against the United States” following the uproar we’ve seen over the balloon this week ultimately led the intelligence community to “detect things that the Trump administration was unable to detect.”
Basically, Biden’s NatSec team found and confirmed things that Donald Trump’s did not.
Donald Trump really does not want you to believe that.
The scandal-ridden former president was quick to take to his struggling Truth Social platform and vehemently assert that any reports indicating that Chinese spy balloons floated through US airspace during his presidential term were nothing more than “FAKE DISINFORMATION.”
The Chinese Balloon situation is a disgrace, just like the Afghanistan horror show, and everything else surrounding the grossly incompetent Biden Administration. They are only good at cheating in elections, and disinformation — and now they are putting out that a Balloon was put up by China during the Trump Administration, in order to take the ‘heat’ off the slow moving Biden fools. China had too much respect for ‘TRUMP’ for this to have happened, and it NEVER did. JUST FAKE DISINFORMATION!”
Suffice it to say, Donald isn’t taking this news too well.
