A tone shift worth noting

A visible crack is forming inside Donald Trump’s political world, and the criticism is now coming from voices once closely aligned with him.

After watching Trump’s recent speech, former Infowars host Owen Shroyer offered a pointed response.

“This is Trump’s worst speech yet,” Shroyer wrote. He said the president opened by attacking Joe Biden because he needed someone to blame. Shroyer also pointed out that Trump spoke about fighting corruption but offered “zero arrests.”

As his reaction continued, Shroyer said the speech quickly lost focus.

In another post, he questioned Trump’s confidence and clarity. “He’s stuttering. Confidence fading. Can’t lie through the reality anymore,” Shroyer wrote. He said Trump sounded different and unsettled. “Never heard Trump like this,” he added. “Not as comfortable or charismatic. Very telling. His base has turned. He knows it. Ego damaged. Swagger lost.”

Shroyer expanded on those concerns in a longer video message. He dismissed Trump’s claims about the economy and said the talking points fell apart under even basic scrutiny. According to Shroyer, the message no longer lines up with what Americans are living through.

“No, the U.S. economy is not doing great,” he said. “You can’t lie your way through that. You can’t tell Americans the economy is great when they know they are struggling.”

He then turned to Trump’s delivery and presence, areas usually praised by supporters. Shroyer said the president appeared rushed and uneasy. “He was not his usual confident self,” he said. “He seemed to be speed reading. The charisma was gone. The aura was gone. The swagger was gone. The message was stale. There was nothing new.”

From there, Shroyer suggested deeper trouble ahead. He said the administration is under growing pressure and hinted that more figures close to Trump could step away in the months ahead.

Looking forward, Shroyer warned of a larger split forming inside the movement. “This is where the divide happens,” he said. “Call it whatever you want. This is the moment. This is the official split.”
