The daughter of a firefighter who lost his life in the 9/11 attack took aim at scandal-ridden ex-President Donald Trump over his decision to host a tournament for the Saudi-backed LIV Golf series at his golf courses.

In a stroke of “luck” for the former guy whose finances aren’t exactly a thing of beauty these days, Donald Trump’s Doral, Florida, and Bedminster, New Jersey, properties are set to receive a pretty huge influx of cash flow thanks to his decision to host the controversial golf tournament at his resorts. Of course, this decision has been met with quite a bit of backlash, but Donald did what Donald does best and simply doubled down on his choice, and publicly lashed out at the PGA yet again, proving that the grudge is still very much alive and well these days.

Now, a group of families who personally lost loved ones in the attack, dubbed 9/11 Justice, has publicly taken aim at the corrupt former president over his decision to host the Saudi-sponsored league in spite of the fact that Trump himself regularly and openly blamed the Saudi government for the 9/11 attack that cost thousands of lives in this country.

Today, CNN’s Kaitlan Collins interviewed Juliette Scauso, the daughter of Dennis Scauso, a firefighter who paid with his life during the 9/11 attack. Scauso was quick to express her shock and disgust at the fact that LIV Golf will now have an event “in the backyard of Ground Zero.”

“And for that to be hosted by a former president is even more disgusting,” she fumed. “It’s hard to find the words.”

In the segment, they went on to discuss the clear evidence of Saudi Arabia’s complicity in 9/11 as well as the lawsuit that was filed against the country’s government by 9/11 Justice in an effort to hold them accountable for their role in the brutally fatal attack.

Scauso said when it comes to the group’s public condemnation of Donald Trump, it’s a personal matter for her, leading Collins to ask what sort of message the ex-president is sending if he refuses to cancel the controversial events.

“I think the 9/11 community, we’ve been pretty outspoken about our issue here. And I’m very proud to say that I think we’ve gotten our message out quite far,” Scauso said. “I’m sure, Mr. Trump knows about us. He knows the letter. He knows how we stand. Now, whether it’s canceled or not — I personally don’t think it will be. Just the fact that you’re — and even the players — this is blood money that you’re taking. Same with him hosting these events.”
