Debate Host Asks 5 Republican Candidates If Joe Biden Won The Election In 2020, Their Responses Are Mind-Blowing

Well, this is embarrassing.

In a truly remarkable moment, five GOP candidates during the Minnesota Republican gubernatorial debate were asked a simple question that none of them appeared capable of answering. Conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt asked if President Joe Biden won the 2020 election. Either all five of the candidates have missing spines and are afraid of former President Donald Trump’s election-denying base, or they are ridiculously stupid — or both. According to Mediaite, candidates Dr. Scott Jensen, State Senator Paul Gazelka, State Senator Michelle Benson, Dr. Neil Shah, and Mayor Mike Murphy could not answer the question.

“In your opinion, did President Biden win a constitutional majority of the Electoral College? If yes, how definitive is your conclusion, and if no, could you please explain which states you think are in dispute,” Hewitt asked Jensen.

“I don’t know. I don’t know,” Jensen insisted. “And I think that you have to take that attitude towards 2020,” then he started talking about voting restrictions.

The same question was asked of the other candidates.

Gazelka, while talking about the unfairness of the election, told Hewitt, “We have the results we have, and the Electoral College is the way that we determine the election. Each state does their own deal. I’m not a big fan of how that all played out.”

Benson had to be asked twice.

“Senator Benson, a follow-up, though. Did President Biden win?” Hewitt asked again.

“He was certified by Congress as having won the Electoral College,” Benson replied.

Watch starting at around the 10:15 mark:

The twice-impeached one-term President has spent nearly every day since his defeat to Joe Biden claiming that the election was rigged without providing evidence to back that up. And if a Republican admits reality, then they fall out of Donald Trump’s good graces. The former President can hold a grudge like no other. The Republican Party is now the party of Trumpism, and that’s a scary thought. Nothing is real in the Trump world. Up is down, down is up. The legitimately held election was rigged, and they can say that because their feelings are hurt. Water is no longer wet.
