Former North Carolina Governor and ex-Trump Administration UN Ambassador Nikki Haley is the only person left standing to go toe-to-toe with former president and Republican candidate Donald Trump for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination after Trump-wannabe Ron DeSantis formally dropped out of the race this weekend. Haley is trying like hell to claw her way to the top and usurp her old boss but, frankly, the odds aren’t looking to be in her favor and, as such, the desperation is hitting an all-time high as the deadline of New Hampshire’s make-it-or-break-it US Republican primary vote rapidly closes in.
Trailing the scandal-plagued former president by a whopping 15 points, Haley — who’s currently pretty ridden with her own infidelity scandal right now — seems to be pulling out the big guns, in the form of none other than television’s Judge Judy.
Haley supporters were shot straight back to their childhood days snow days filled with cable TV when the infamous straight-shooter New York judge turned household name television personality, Judy Sheindlin, opened Nikki Haley’s New Hampshire campaign rally this weekend.
“It’s time for Nikki Haley. This is her moment. She’s a star… I do know people and this woman is the real deal,” the 81-year-old television adjudicator told Haley’s crowd.

The notorious Judge Judy said she’s remained “pretty apolitical” for the majority of her 81 years of life, but took it upon herself to reach out to the Republican presidential candidate as she found herself more and more concerned about the country’s future.
“I saw how poised, graceful, knowledgeable, centered, intelligent she was. I saw how she commanded her space,” Sheindlin explained of Nikki Haley, who allegedly cheated on her military husband more times than we can count on our fingers. “And when she indicated her desire to run for president of the United States and I saw the field, I said, ‘I want to get to know this lady.'”
Trump is still leading in the polls by a relatively wide margin, but there’s no denying that he’s being bogged down my a multitude of lawsuits and criminal charges, combining to a staggering 91 criminal indictments hanging over his head.
At one point during Haley’s rally, while Sheindlin was speaking, a member of the audience shouted “Send Trump to prison,” prompting a rather milquetoast response from the rest of the crowd.
“I’m not here necessarily to bash the competition, although I’m perfectly capable of doing that,” Judy responded without ever mentioning Donald Trump by name. She went on to add, “Suffice it to say that when you teach a child not to put their hand over a flame, you do that because you know they’re going to get burned. Well, we’ve gotten burned.”
Sheindlin boasts an Emmy Award for her no-nonsense, straight-shooting persona on her “Judge Judy” show which started in 1996 and quickly rose to the most-watched courtroom television series in the US, running for a total of 25 seasons before coming to an end in 2021.
While I wouldn’t have exactly pegged the infamous Judge Judy as a Haley supporter, it’s certainly pretty hilarious that she’s no fan of Donald Trump’s.
