DOJ Has Reportedly Obtained Cold, Hard Evidence That Trump Campaign Knew Donald Was Lying About Election Claims, No Evidence Of Fraud

As if things couldn’t get worse for the disgraced, scandal-ridden former president, the Washington Post broke reporting today, confirming that the US Department of Justice has obtained cold, hard evidence proving that the Trump Campaign was very well aware of the fact that Donald’s claims regarding election fraud in the state of Georgia were all bald-faced lies.

A very large part of what ignited Fulton Count District Attorney Fani Willis’ investigation into Trump’s efforts to overthrow the 2020 presidential election results in the state of Georgia was the infamous call that the then-outgoing president made to GA’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger — a call that Trump still asserts was “perfect,” yet saw the then-president all but demanding that the Peach State official “find” the nearly 12,000 votes he needed to overturn Biden’s victory in the southern swing state. But recent reporting has confirmed that, before that notorious phone call was even made, Donald Trump’s own campaign staff had already commissioned and created a report that clearly showed there was very little to no evidence to back up Donald’s incessant conspiracy theories regarding widespread voter fraud in the state of GA.

A month ago, in connection to their investigation into the events of January 6th, 2021, and the deadly Capitol insurrection, the United States Department of Justice obtained that report from Donald Trump’s own campaign.

Simultaneously, then-president Trump was publicly screaming about widespread election fraud in the state of Georgia, and going so far as to make pressuring phone calls to state officials, while at the very same time, his own campaign was creating a report that stood in direct opposition to the now ex-president’s claims.

Washington Post’s Josh Dawsey reports that the newspaper was able to obtain a copy of the secret, buried Trump Campaign report, which shows that, “Researchers paid by Trump’s team had ‘high confidence’ of only nine dead voters in Fulton County, defined as ballots that may have been cast by someone else in the name of a deceased person. They believed there was a ‘potential statewide exposure’ of 23 such votes across the Peach State — or 4,977 less than the ‘minimum’ Trump claimed.”

To make matters worse for the scandal-ridden former president, the Trump Campaign report further notes that they found inconsequentially little evidence to support Donald Trump’s claims of fraud in the state of Nevada, another swing state that Donald Trump lost to Joe Biden, and would go on to contest those election results.

WaPo confirms that the DOJ is now in possession of that damning Trump Campaign report.

“The ‘Project 2020’ report conducted by the Berkeley Research Group and a team of scientists has now been obtained by prosecutors investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol. A copy was reviewed by The Washington Post, and it shows that Trump’s own campaign paid more than $600,000 for research that undercut many of his most explosive claims. The research was never made public,” the report reads.

WaPo goes on to note that “the Justice Department has sought and obtained multiple reports, emails and interviews from witnesses that show campaign officials analyzing, and often discrediting, claims that Trump was making publicly, according to several people involved in the investigation, who like some others spoke on the condition of anonymity to disclose internal details. The Berkeley report was provided to the Justice Department earlier this month, one of the people said, after some people involved in its crafting received a subpoena.”
