Don Jr. Appears To Suggest That The Media Is Killing Americans By Not Pushing His Dad’s Obsession With Risky Chloroquine Drug

Cherry-picking one study doesn't all of a sudden make your daddy right, Junior.

Donald Trump has not promoted hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for coronavirus for some time now, but his namesake son continued to do so — even though it’s risky and doesn’t appear to work.

Hydroxychloroquine is an anti-malarial drug that Trump had been obsessed with pushing as a treatment for the virus for months despite serious side effects that could have deadly consequences.

In fact, multiple studies show that the drug is too dangerous to use and that it has little or no effect. Sadly, several American military veterans have died because they were given the drug to treat the virus.

In that particular VA study, patients were twice as likely to die after taking the drug than they were with just receiving normal care.

Masks and social distancing have been proven to be more effective at preventing the virus than chloroquine, yet Don Jr. is still pushing the drug while demonizing the use of masks even though his girlfriend recently tested positive after listening to his stupidity.

Regardless, the virus hitting him personally did not stop Don Jr. from touting the drug again on Twitter as he accused the media of being responsible for the more than 130,000 deaths because they haven’t been promoting the drug as a treatment.

CNN merely reported on the results of one study. That doesn’t mean chloroquine is suddenly a miracle cure. There are more studies warning against use then there are recommending it. If there’s a drug that should be promoted, it’s Remdesivir, which has approval from none other than Dr. Anthony Fauci himself.

Don Jr. is not a medical doctor. Fauci is. That should be all the information Americans need to know to determine who they should be trusting.
