Let me start this by saying — Political Tribune has the utmost respect for this solemn day in history as well as the people who lost their lives, lost their loved ones, and suffered more deeply than we can imagine. We will never forget.
However, the GOP tends to use this somber anniversary of this nation’s greatest tragedy as an example of what we “could be” if it weren’t for the Democrats. They drill 9/11 into the brains of Americans as an example of the “unity” we should strive for.
Now, I am not saying that we shouldn’t strive for unity. But, for one, this nation wasn’t nearly as “unified” after that heinous tragedy as the Republican party tries to make it seem. Secondly, for a party of people that are constantly calling for such “unity,” they sure don’t make very good examples out of themselves.
We just reported this morning that former President Donald Trump spent his 9/11 address railing against President Biden and now it unsurprisingly seems as though his eldest son and namesake has proven that he isn’t a bit better.
Yesterday, as the nation prepared for this solemn anniversary, Don Jr. took to his Twitter with an image of President Biden, featuring a bit of his trademarked nasty editing.

Are we really supposed to expect unity when you’re essentially calling the President of the United States a piece of shit?
Twitter users weren’t impressed:
Show respect to the President

No matter the tragedy, no matter the situation, we have more respect for ourselves and this nation than to ever seek unity with someone as disgusting as this guy.
