Former President Donald Trump is having a major meltdown over a video of empty seats at his rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The video was posted by Kamala Harris’s campaign on X (formerly Twitter) with the message,
“Trump’s audience is exiting as he rambles incoherently in Pennsylvania, leaving even more empty seats.”
The post, which came from Zac Anderson, quickly went viral, racking up 5.4 million views and fueling Trump’s ongoing battles with reality. Trump’s reaction shows he has a hard time facing the truth.

Donald Trump, never one to shy away from a social media fight, responded to the video on his own platform, Truth Social. He claimed the video was just a trick by Kamala Harris’s campaign to make him look bad. According to Trump, the footage was taken before the rally even started and doesn’t show what really happened. He insisted that the rally was actually packed with people, so much so that they had to turn away 11,500 supporters because there wasn’t enough room. Trump called Harris’s video fake news and said she was lying. He claimed the empty seats were shown on purpose to make it look like fewer people came to his rally. Trump said this was part of a big plan to damage his reputation.
As if the drama wasn’t enough, Kamala Harris’s campaign fought back late Sunday. They called Trump’s claims “lies and delusions” and said he was trying to distract people from the real issue: his falling support. Harris’s team accused Trump of making up stories to cover up the fact that fewer people are interested in his rallies. The whole argument turned into a chaotic clash of political claims and counterclaims.
In the end, Trump’s rally became quite a sight with many empty seats. The former president, who used to brag about huge crowds, now has to explain why the venue looked mostly empty. It’s almost funny how Trump, known for making big promises, is now talking about how empty his seats—and his claims—are.
