Frankly, Donald Trump has said so many horrible, awful, disgusting things over the years that it’s quite hard to surprise us anymore. While, yes, we’re certainly disgusted and thoroughly appalled by the incessant nonsense that’s constantly coming out of his mouth, it’s becoming more and more difficult for him to come off with something that actually takes us back for a beat.
But this was one of those things…
While this particular remark wasn’t a recent incident, by any stretch of the means, it was one of the things that have managed to stand out in our minds over the years — as that list of appalling, horrifying things grows with each passing day — as possibly one of the worst things we’ve ever had the displeasure of hearing come out of Donald J. Trump’s bloated mouth.
It’s certainly no secret that the disgraced former president is about as vain and shallow as they come. In fact, his wife all but admitted as much herself when she once said, “Well, if I wasn’t beautiful, do you think he’d be with me?” when asked if she only married Donald for his money.

Back in 2006, almost a decade before we would be subjected to Trump’s political era, Melania sat for an interview with People Magazine, where she talked about her husband’s reaction to finding out that she was pregnant with their only son, Barron.
“He came home one day, and I told him he’d be a daddy,” Melania told the magazine all those years ago. “And his reaction was … at first he needed to take it in. It was a real surprise. And then he was very happy.”
In that same interview, Donald said, “I expected we were going to have children, so I wasn’t totally surprised. But I was surprised by the speed of it. It happened very quickly.”
In her 7th month of pregnancy with her only child, Melania Trump posed in a gold bikini for Vogue, saying, “I think it’s very sexy for a woman to be pregnant. I think it’s beautiful, carrying a baby inside.”
However, her husband had, shall we say, different thoughts…
In a 2005 interview with Howard Stern, Trump said of the woman who carried his child:
You know, they just blow up, right? Like a blimp — in the right places. In her case, the right places. I mean she really has become a monster — in all the right places. I mean monster in the most positive way. She has gotten very, very large — in all the right places.”
Just weeks later, Donald would go on to make the infamous “Grab them by the p*ssy” remarks in the notorious Access Hollywood interview with Billy Bush.
All of this also took place around the same time frame in which Donald Trump would go on to allegedly have an affair with adult film star Stormy Daniels.
While Donald’s remarks about Melania’s pregnant body were distasteful, at best, I do suppose it was a bit better than his reaction to learning of his daughter Tiffany’s impending arrival with now-ex Marla Maples, with Trump responding, “Excuse me, what happened?” and “Well, what are we going to do about this?”
