In case you missed it recently, Donald Trump sent speculations swirling when he was caught heading to the New Jersey airport on a flight that was reportedly filed for Dulles in Virginia — an international airport that is often used by individuals who are on their way to Washington, D.C.

Upon arriving at Dulles, the scandal-ridden former president immediately got into a blacked-out SUV. To make matters that much more bizarre all the way around, Trump was wearing his white golf shoes and polo, instead of the typical suit he’s usually seen out and about in.

The whole ordeal set Twitter ablaze with theories ranging from an emergency trip to Walter Reed, to a secret under-oath deposition as a result of a Justice Department subpoena, to some even speculating that Donald Trump had finally been arrested.
As far as we know, none of the above is true.
We don’t really know what the bizarre, late evening trip was actually all about. But, Trump himself took to Truth Social in what appeared to be a thinly-veiled attempt to dispel the rumors as he wrote, “Working today at @TrumpWashingtonDC on the Potomac River. What an incredible place!” and included a link to Trump National Golf Club Washington, D.C.
It wasn’t long before the Associated Press was able to spot the former guy at his D.C. golf course where they captured photos of him amid all the hustle and bustle and speculations, including one of Trump riding in a golf cart over the course, seemingly all alone.

But proof of Trump’s occasionally lonely existence wasn’t all the press managed to capture.
While the theories surrounding a trip to Walter Reed or a secret subpoena appear to be incorrect, it doesn’t seem that Donald was actually doing much golfing at all at his golf club that day. Instead, during the moments when he wasn’t all alone on a golf cart, it appeared as though the former president was conducting a sort of secretive, mob-style meeting with some of his closet key allies, such as Kevin McCarthy, Devin Nunes, Sean Hannity, and even his middle son Eric Trump. In fact, most of the time they were out there, it didn’t appear as though there was a golf club in sight.

Several people on Twitter made note of the whole bizarre ordeal, and the fact that it didn’t seem as though anyone was playing any actual golf on the greens:
