Donald Trump’s 2nd ex-wife and mother of his youngest daughter Tiffany has long been considered the “spurned” wife, especially when you consider the details surrounding the dissolution of their 6 year marriage.
However, with her ex-husband and baby daddy slated as the presumptive 2024 Republican nominee — with what is stacking up to be a very real chance at returning to the White House — it seems Marla Maples is shelving her contempt toward her daughter’s father and possibly even hoping to ride his coattails to the top.
Maples has been one of the quietest members of the Trump circle, infamously keeping to herself and out of the spotlight throughout her ex-husband’s presidency and his subsequent, neverending mountain of scandals and legal troubles.
But, after nearly a decade of virtual silence, Donald’s second wife has popped back onto the scene with a variety of truly horrifying, disturbing, and downright disgusting things to say.

In what appears to be her first interview in a whopping eight years, Maples — who was publicly blamed for the demise of Donald’s first marriage to Ivana Trump only to then reportedly be left for Trump’s current wife Melania in the end — spoke with the UK’s Evening Standard and said that not only does she no longer hold any animosity toward her ex-husband, she’s willing to do anything she can to help him return to the White House for a second term… Even if that means serving as his vice president.
“I’m ready. I am available if needed and I’m not sitting back anymore,” Maples said of her only daughter’s father and his 2024 presidential run. “I want to step out more, share more, and not be afraid of positive or negative outcomes that come from speaking out… It’s time I can really be more on point with what I may be called to do.”
The interviewer ultimately asked Marla about the possibility of serving as her ex-husband’s VP, to which she said, “Someone would have to ask my ex-husband about that. I’m open. I’m open to whatever way that I can serve. Right now everyone [in the Trump family] is just seeing how we can help.”
The publication noted that Marla’s “support may come as a surprise to some; you could easily forgive Maples for hating her ex-husband.”
But Maples said, “Anything from the past I’ve forgiven. That is a conversation that Donald and I have had: forgiving each other. Marriages are challenging, especially when you play them out in the media.”
When it comes to her ex-husband’s mountain of legal woes — with particular interest in the civil lawsuit in which it was found that he sexually abused E. Jean Carroll — Marla said she doesn’t believe any of it, because Donald never had trouble pulling women on his own.
“I do know my daughter’s father well enough to know that he’s never had to push himself on another person,” Maples said. “He’s always had women throw themselves on him instead. I don’t believe there was a crime done.”
