Erika Kirk has finally ended the guessing game. At the Turning Point USA conference in Arizona, she announced she is backing Vice President JD Vance for president in 2028.
For weeks, people had been wondering where Kirk stood. She had dodged questions about Vance, leaving many to think there was tension between her and the vice president. Some even claimed she was pulling away after outside pressure hit Vance.
But on Thursday, she put all doubts to rest. “We are going to get my husband’s friend JD Vance elected for 48 in the most resounding way possible,” she told the cheering crowd. It was the biggest TPUSA gathering since Charlie Kirk passed away.

The internet went wild as soon as she spoke. Everyone had an opinion.
Wait, what about Don Jr? Trump 2028, remember?

Pushing for Vance to win this hard not even a year into Trump’s presidency is pretty telling.

Fans also noticed a warm hug between Kirk and Vance at the event. Some joked she might be thinking about the role of First Lady. Both were quick to shrug off the gossip.
She really wants to become First Lady. It all makes sense now.

Of course.. how else does she stay a relevant grifter

Hard pass. JD Vance feels like a Thiel-built candidate, not an America First heir. If the plan for 2028 is more tech donor puppetry and more foreign distractions, count me out.

The endorsement comes as Vance’s path in the GOP becomes clearer. Senator Marco Rubio, once seen as a possible rival, confirmed he would step aside if Vance runs. “If JD Vance runs, he’ll be our nominee. I’ll be one of the first to support him,” Rubio told Vanity Fair.
Still, Vance hasn’t officially announced he will run. That keeps the speculation alive, even with Kirk’s public support.
Before this announcement, Kirk had been tight-lipped, and far-right commentators like Nick Fuentes added fuel to the rumors. Her sudden public support now makes it clear where she stands and signals that TPUSA is throwing its weight behind Vance early.
