Donald Trump’s infamous Manhattan Stormy Daniels Hush Money trial has been over for some time now and, for the first time, we saw the first inkling of a shred of legal accountability for the scandal-plagued and thoroughly corrupt former president when a jury of 12 of his peers found him formally guilty of a staggering 34 felony charges — making history in the United States of America.
However, despite the trial being over (and sentencing as a whole still being up in the air right now), we are still dissecting bits and pieces of all the truly damning information and testimonies that came out against the former president over the course of the 5 weeks he spent in a Manhattan courtroom.
Among those revelations, truly ranging from hilarious to horrifying and everything in between, was this tidbit of information from Trump’s former lawyer that we imagine sent Donald’s wife Melania over the deep end.
Michael Cohen served as Donald Trump’s personal attorney and self-described “fixer” back in 2016 when the Stormy Daniels Hush Money scandal first took place. In fact, Cohen was the one to personally make the 6-figure payment to the adult film star, earning him his own prison stent for his involvement in the scheme and centering him as a key witness in the case against Donald Trump.

Suffice it to say, Cohen’s testimony throughout the trial consisted of one bombshell after another. But it was this particular claim about Trump’s feelings regarding his wife that really caught our attention.
According to Cohen, who spoke in a Manhattan courtroom, under oath and was subject to perjury charges, now-former President Trump was highly confident that he could easily and quickly replace his wife, Melania, should she decide to leave him over his alleged infidelity.
Cohen testified that when the possibility of Daniels’ story about her alleged affair with Donald Trump was hanging in the air, he asked his then-boss how things were going “upstairs” with his wife, to which Trump allegedly suggested that he wouldn’t be single for long at all, should things go sideways.
“How long do you think I’m going to be on the market for?” Trump allegedly said to Cohen, his then-personal attorney.
“He wasn’t thinking about Melania,” Cohen said from the stand during the trial. “This was all about the campaign.”
Trump and his legal team, of course, attempted to use his wife as a crutch in this case, under the notion that Stormy Daniels was paid off not to protect his presidential campaign, but to protect his marriage.
Cohen’s testimony quickly disputed these claims, as Donald’s alleged remarks make it rather clear that he wasn’t concerned about his marriage or his wife at all.
