At this point, everyone across the nation and likely around the world are all too familiar with Donald Trump’s now-infamous scheme to pressure officials in the state of Georgia into helping him overthrow the results of the 2020 presidential election that he brutally lost, and essentially steal the US presidency from the rightful winner, Joe Biden. Frankly, you’d be hard-pressed to find a single living soul that doesn’t know about the notorious “find the votes” call that Donald made to GA Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger — the same call that has played a large role in earning the disgraced ex-president a brutal criminal investigation by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, that’s now shaping up to soon serve as Donald’s third historical indictment.
However, it turns out that the infamous scheme in Georgia wasn’t Donald Trump’s only attempt to pressure state officials into helping him steal a United States election. According to bombshell new reporting from the Washington Post, the now-disgraced former president also made a call to Arizona’s now-former Republican Governor Doug Ducey, attempting to do the same thing he tried to do to Raffensperger.
The Post cites multiple inside sources, reporting that not only did scandal-ridden Trump personally place the phone call to Ducey, he took the plot a step further when he “repeatedly” attempted to pressure his right-hand man and VP Mike Pence to get involved in the pressure campaign. Sources tell the publication that Pence did make a call to the AZ state official but did not press the issue in the way Trump wanted him to.
“Ducey told reporters in December 2020 that he and Trump had spoken, but he declined to disclose the contents of the call then or in the more than two years since,” the report reads. “Although he disagreed with Trump about the outcome of the election, Ducey has sought to avoid a public battle with Trump.”

A Ducey donor personally spoke with WaPo and said that the now-former governor described the “pressure” he felt from a pathetically desperate Donald Trump.
“The account was confirmed by others aware of the call,” the newspaper reports, adding, “Ducey told the donor he was surprised that special counsel Jack Smith’s team had not inquired about his phone calls with Trump and Pence as part of the Justice Department’s investigation into the former president’s attempt to overturn the 2020 election, the donor said.”
WaPo confirms that it remains unclear whether or not Jack Smith or his investigators have been in touch with Ducey regarding this matter.
