On the final night of the Democratic National Convention, Donald Trump called Fox News to rant about his opponent, Kamala Harris. After Harris closed the four-night event with her acceptance speech, Trump reacted by criticizing her for the issues she didnā€™t address and launched into several unrelated tangents. One user on X (formerly Twitter) even pointed out that Trump face-dialed six times during the call.

Here are some of the hilarious comments on Twitter:

Viewers could easily picture his orange face accidentally pressing the buttons, while Fox News anchors appeared uncomfortable yet allowed him to continue. Reports suggest the network tried to cut him off to return to their broadcast, following a similar incident when they cut away from a low-energy speech Trump gave in Michigan.

During the call, Trump complained about high interest rates and the inability of Americans to afford housingā€”an ironic criticism from someone who had evicted many as a real estate mogul.

His frequent rants have increasingly jarred viewers, politicians, aides, and even media networks, many of whom seem to have grown tired of his tirades. Several within his party urged him to focus on policy rather than launching personal attacks on Harris. In response, Trump doubled down, insisting this is who he is and that he would not change.

Some have cited this refusal to adjust as a reason for his dip in the polls. Even when Trump sticks to the issues, as he did in Michigan, his low energy has still prompted networks to cut away.

After calling Fox, Trump dialed Newsmax, another pro-Trump network.

Although it sounds like he face-dialed only once during that call, his ranting remained just as intense as it was in his previous call with Fox News.
