Foreign Press Just Humilated Trump: ‘Someone Buy This Reporter A Beer’

Trump loses it again

Donald Trump flew to Scotland to brag about his trade deal with the European Union. He chose his own golf course for the announcement. But things didn’t go as planned.

A foreign reporter hit him with a question that stopped everything.

“Was part of the rush to get this deal done to knock the Jeffrey Epstein story out?”

Trump froze for a moment. Then snapped back.

“You gotta be kidding me,” he said. “Only you would think that. That had nothing to do with it.”

The moment went viral. Critics flooded social media with praise for the reporter. One post read, “Someone buy this reporter a beer.”

The question came just days after Ghislaine Maxwell met with the Justice Department for two days in Florida. She was reportedly asked about powerful people linked to Epstein. It was a closed-door meeting, and many want to know what was said.

Trump has avoided questions about the Epstein case for years. But now it’s back in the headlines, and the pressure is building.

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson went on Meet The Press to defend the Republican position. He was asked directly about Maxwell.

“Can she be trusted?” host Kristen Welker asked.

Johnson replied, “I hope so. I hope that she would want to come clean. We certainly are interested in knowing everything that she knows.”

He mentioned the House Oversight Committee. He said they’ve already issued a subpoena to bring Maxwell in.

Then came the bigger question.

“Would you support a pardon or a commutation for Ghislaine Maxwell, a convicted sex trafficker?”

Johnson did not give a straight answer. He talked around it. He mentioned her 20-year sentence. He said her character was in question. But he never said yes or no.

That’s been Trump’s pattern too. When first asked about a possible pardon, Trump said he had the power to do it. He also said it wasn’t something he had thought about. Then, after landing in Scotland, he claimed he didn’t know anything about the meeting with Maxwell.

He said, “Obviously, this is no time to be talking about pardons.”

Critics saw the back-and-forth as part of a bigger strategy. They believe Trump is trying to bury the Epstein story under noise. The trade deal announcement, the golf course setting, and the timing all raised eyebrows.
