Donald Trump’s former personal attorney and self-described “fixer,” Michael Cohen, was officially released from home confinement recently, and with pretty much his first breath of freedom, he used it to issue a dire, stark warning to his former “boss” Donald Trump, as well as the ex-president’s associates — one they should probably heed.
Cohen was charged and incarcerated after pleading guilty to eight different criminal charges — five counts of tax evasion, one count of making false statements to a financial institution, one count of willfully causing an unlawful corporate contribution, and one count of making an excessive campaign contribution at the request of a candidate — all of which were directed related to his connection with Donald Trump.
Cohen was ultimately sentenced to 3 years in federal prison, where he would go on to serve the first portion of his time in FCI Otisville. The former Trump attorney was then furloughed from the prison in late May of 2020, as part of the Bureau of Prison’s efforts to reduce the number of inmates inside prisons during the height of the coronavirus pandemic. However, Cohen would return to prison just days later, on the 9th of June, after a meeting with a U.S. Probation official that went sideways, due to the supposed conditions of his house arrest that essentially just served to silence Cohen from speaking out against his old boss.
The former attorney sued for retaliation, won his case, and was ultimately released back to his Manhattan Upper East Side apartment to finish out his sentence under home confinement.

That sentence officially ended recently — Michael Cohen is a free man.
And what did Cohen do with his first taste of true freedom in the last 3 years? He used it to warn the ex-president and his jockeys that he is fully cooperating with investigators in their probe against Donald Trump, and would be doing everything in his power to ensure that they’re taken to task for “their dirty deeds.”
Speaking outside of what we assume was his Manhattan apartment on the day of his official release, Cohen publicly announced:
My release today in no way negates the actions that I took at the direction of and the benefit of Donald J. Trump. But it also does not negate the behavior of the Justice Department, Bill Barr, the Southern Distrcit of New York prosecutors, Judge William H. Pauley III, or Donald himself in my initial incarceration and prosecution. I will continue to provide information, testimony, documents, and my full cooperation on all ongoing investigations to ensure that others are held responsible for their dirty deeds and that no one is ever believed to be above the law.”
Frankly, I don’t even need to add anything here. He made himself clear as crystal, Donald.
