Recently, a New York federal jury reached a monumental and brutal verdict in the infamous rape and defamation case brought against Donald J. Trump by world-renowned author and advice columnist, E. Jean Carroll, who has publicly accused the now-former president of brutally sexually assaulting her in the dressing room of a Manhattan department store in the 1990s.
Following only a few short hours of deliberation, the jury on the trial found former US President Donald Trump liable for sexual battery and defamation against E. Jean Carroll.
ABC News reported on the bombshell news, “The jury awarded Carroll a total of $5 million in the lawsuit. Jury members found that Trump did not rape Carroll but sexually abused her, and awarded damages of $2 million in compensatory damages and $20,000 in punitive damages for battery.”
“The jury awarded $1 million in damages, $1.7 million for reputation repair, and $280,000 in punitive damages, for defamation.”

With the news of this bombshell verdict that essentially found Donald Trump guilty of sexual assault and battery, one former Trump Administration official has spoken out to Newsweek and revealed that staffers within the then-president’s own White House were deeply alarmed and “concerned” over Trump’s “openly” inappropriate and borderline obsessive behavior with one particular young, female White House staffer.
Olivia Troye, who worked in the Trump Administration White House as an advisor to Vice President Mike Pence, told the publication “I witnessed his behavior first hand. He did it openly and made the comments openly even in meetings,” going on to add that “this behavior was a known thing across many senior staff” in the Trump White House.
Troye further noted that she was aware “there was a younger staffer that he took a very keen interest” in.
“That was the one they raised concerns about,” the former administration official told Newsweek.
The revelation from Troye, who resigned from the Trump Administration in August 2020 and has since morphed into a staunch Trump critic as a contributor across cable news, corroborates past revelations from former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham as well as former adviser Alyssa Farah Griffin. Both of the former officials spoke on the matter of this particular young aide in a CNN segment earlier this week, amid the Carroll assault and defamation trial, and confirmed that Trump had a long-standing pattern of “behaving inappropriately” with multiple women during his time in office.
Prior to this, Grisham also made the same revelation in her tell-all book.
