Things got a little awkward during a recent Fox & Friends segment with ex-President Donald Trump when host Brian Kilmeade started asking the former guy the important questions about his wife Melania.
Trump called into the ultra Right-wing network recently for one of his trademarked, long-winded “interviews,” in which he rambled on about a multitude of topics and various grievances of his, with the star theme being his endless complaints about pretty much everything going on in the nation under the power of his replacement, President Joe Biden.
But Kilmeade seemed a little less interested in Trump’s drivel of Biden whines and moans and a little more interested in what’s up with Donnie’s wife.
“Does it make you want to get another four years and be the 47th president, and is it true that the former first lady, Melania Trump, has told you I’m not going back if you run again?” Kilmeade asked ex-president Trump flat out during the interview.

“No, that’s not true,” Trump responded with a light laugh that seemed to be dripping in sarcasm. “That’s an interesting one. More fake news. That’s not true. She was a great first lady and she did a great job. She loves the people, they love her, I see how they love her.”
Brian eventually brought the conversation back around to the possibility of a Trump 2024 run, asking, “Do you want to be the 47th president? Do you think you’re the only one to bring it back as the 47th president?”
But, like usual, Trump wouldn’t give a straight answer on that subject, and instead took to rambling on about his poll numbers.
Frankly, we’re not quite sure what crawled up Kilmeade’s behind and possessed him to ask such a question about the former First Lady. However, we’re guessing it has something to do with the multiple reports over the last year that have indicated Melania’s complete lack of interest in heading back into the White House for another four years under her husband’s reign of terror.
In fact, as recently as September, a CNN report claimed that Melania had told those close to her that she has absolutely no desire to go back to the White House, and even went so far as to state that she would not help him in his campaign should he choose to run a third time. In her recent tell-all book, Melania’s former BFF Stephanie Grisham shared a similar sentiment, claiming that Melania intentionally tried to embarrass her husband and eventually flat out ignored him as she found herself more and more fed up with his relentless scandals and distasteful behavior.
