Taylor Swift is officially one of the most famous and successful human beings on the face of the planet and Fox News can’t handle that.

As the 34-year-old Pennsylvania native’s fame and fortune continue to top the charts, the ultra-conservative “news” network is desperately trying to come up with whatever conspiracy theories and unfounded nonsense they can as an excuse for why Swift is so popular and successful, instead of just accepting that she’s damn good at what she does.

Apparently, this includes the idea that Taylor Swift is an operative for the Pentagon, entangled in a covert operation as a “PsyOp asset” (which, is illegal, by the way) being thrust to the top by the Biden Administration as part of the president’s efforts to swing the upcoming election in his favor.

Of course, the network has absolutely no proof of this, as host Jesse Watters admitted on air himself before continuing to go down the rabbit hole anyway.

During a recent episode of Jesse Watters Primetime, the Fox primetime host and wannabe comedian floated the Swift/Pentagon conspiracy theory while openly admitting that it was pure and unfettered speculation, with not a shred of proof to back it up.

That didn’t stop him from rambling on about it anyway, even going so far as to bring an FBI expert on the show to talk about the plausibility of it all.

“So is Swift a front for a covert political agenda?” Watters questioned to viewers on the segment. “‘Primetime’ obviously has no evidence — if we did, we’d share it. But we’re curious.”

“I like her music. She’s all right, but I mean, have you ever wondered how or why she blew up like this?” openly implying that Swift couldn’t possibly be successful on her own merits and talent, there’s simply got to be something more going on under the surface. “Well, around four years ago, the Pentagon psychological operations unit floated turning Taylor Swift into an asset during a NATO meeting. What kind of asset? A psyop of combating online misinformation.”

Even Watters’ expert wasn’t doing much to prop up his conspiracy theories.

Representatives for Taylor Swift didn’t respond to requests for comments on the matter. However, Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh wasted no time clapping back with her own Swiftie pun, saying of Watters’ unfounded nonsense: “As for this conspiracy theory, we are going to shake it off.”
