Fox News host Neil Cavuto delivered the blood-curdling warning we all fear, yet know is true, after scandal-ridden former President Trump admitted this morning that he will almost undoubtedly be “arrested” next week in the Manhattan District Attorney’s hush money case — things are about to get “very nasty” in the United States.

In the early hours of this morning, scandal-ridden Donald Trump ignited a flurry of panic and outrage after he took to his Truth Social platform and not only announced his admission to his apparent pending arrest, but took things a horrifying step further when called on his supporters to take action, protests through the streets, and “TAKE OUR NATION BACK!” — a call to action that was eerily reminiscent of January 6th.

In the second half of his posts this morning, Trump wrote:

NOW ILLEGAL LEAKS FROM A CORRUPT & HIGHLY POLITICAL MANHATTAN DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE, WHICH HAS ALLOWED NEW RECORDS TO BE SET IN VIOLENT CRIME & WHOSE LEADER IS FUNDED BY GEORGE SOROS, INDICATE THAT, WITH NO CRIME BEING ABLE TO BE PROVEN, & BASED ON AN OLD & FULLY DEBUNKED (BY NUMEROUS OTHER PROSECUTORS!) FAIRYTALE, THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!”

Cavuto unsurprisingly discussed Trump’s disturbing statement on his Fox segment today, openly wondering what it will look like across the country for a former United States president to be cuffed, fingerprinted, and photographed for his mugshot by the police. As additional reporting in recent days has revealed that the indictment is so widely expected, DA Bragg has personally requested a meeting with the NYPD, as sources confirm that New York authorities are already beginning to meet up and prepare the city’s security measures as officials brace for an impending indictment against ex-President Donald Trump, the Fox host apparently couldn’t help but wonder if Trump’s statement was an indicator as to how bad things will truly get in Manhattan, in the coming days.

“I’m just wondering where this goes and what Tuesday looks like then, John. I can imagine it’s going to be a zoo out there,” Cavuto said. “You’re going to have a lot of people who are both supporters of his and those who are hoping that he does go to the clink, but it could get very, very nasty. I’m just wondering how do you think all this goes down.”

Guest UC Berkeley law professor John Yoo expressed that he felt sorry for the Fox host, as Cavuto would be in New York in the midst of it all.

“I feel bad for you, Neil, because I assume you’re going to be in New York City on Tuesday. Luckily, I’m going to be all the way out here in California. I think it is going to be a zoo. First of all, New York City, it’s not like Washington D.C. where you have these broad plazas for public displays,” Yoo said. “It could be very dangerous. The police and the Secret Service are going to have a really hard job maintaining crowd control and making sure nothing like January 6 happens.”

The Berkley professor did make note of his skepticism that a years-old case such as this one would actually be successful in obtaining an official criminal indictment against a former US president but argued that it’s in Trump’s personal best interest that his people remain calm across Manhattan if he is ultimately criminally charged, lest he finds himself in yet another incitement probe, reminiscent of January 6th.

“His safety counts for a great deal as well,” Cavuto added.
