Fox News Just Appeared To Hype Kanye West For President: “The Unifying Force We’ve All Been Waiting For”

Just when you thought things couldn't get any more insane.

As I’m sure you’ve had the displeasure of seeing on this “fine” day in Trump’s America, Kanye frickin’ West is apparently running for president.

No, I don’t believe this is a prank. The guy really thinks he stands a chance at living it up Kardashian-style in the People’s House.

You would really think that would be enough weird for one day. We just can’t take much more in one 24-hour period.

But Fox News being Fox News, they just had to push the envelope a little further when they appeared to hype the guy’s bid for the presidency during a segment on the network.

During a segment on Fox & Friends, the hosts actually made the argument that Kanye West could be exactly what we need to unite this country once again.

A host of the Fox News morning show, Jedidiah Bila, noted that the singer turned crazy man had been recently hinting on his social media account about a potential presidential run.

“I think that expectation of unity can exist somewhere and should exist somewhere, but you also have to expect that you’re not going to agree on this stuff,” she said. “So it’s very, very challenging to find unity.”

“Now, one person who has been talked about a lot about potentially being able to bring some unity is Kanye West,” Bila went on. “That’s right. Kanye West might be running for president.”

“Could Kanye be the unifying force that we have all be waiting for?” she mused on live TV.

Todd Piro, co-host of the Fox segment, chimed in, “That is the question that I woke up, of course, thinking this morning. Who knows what this means for the upcoming election.”

Piro then went on to suggest that perhaps Trump could dissuade West from the presidential run by offering him an official White House position should he win a second term.

“The president should really take a step back and say, ‘Look, I had Kanye on my side at some point’,” Piro explained. “Yes, to the previous 243 years of our democracy, it wouldn’t have been a big deal to get somebody like Kanye on board, but with everything that’s going on in the world right now, it might behoove the president to say, ‘Look, can I have you be something in my administration, really to outreach on civil rights?'”

I just… I have no words. No. Words.
