Earlier this week, Donald Trump’s favorite Fox talking head Sean Hannity conducted an interview with the disgraced, scandal-ridden former president that was frankly every bit as unhinged and ridiculous as we’ve come to expect from these people.
But things get more interesting still, thanks to a bombshell new report from The Daily Beast senior media reporter Justin Baragona, confirming that a crucial and rather damning portion of the ex-president’s remarks during the interview was conveniently edited out by the equally scandal-ridden Right-wing network before the interview aired publicly — a portion that heard Donald Trump saying that he would have allowed Russia to “take over” a portion of Ukraine if he were in power amid Vladimir Putin’s heinous invasion and attack.
Baragona confirms in his report, “According to Trump, all he needed to do was let Russia ‘take over’ parts of Ukraine. Saying that Russia was going for the ‘whole enchilada’ with Joe Biden as president, Trump added that Russia ‘took over nothing’ while he was in the White House because Russian President Vladimir Putin ‘understood’ that ‘he would have never done it.'”
Trump went on to add in his edited-out remarks, “that’s without even negotiating a deal. I could have negotiated. At worst, I could’ve made a deal to take over something, there are certain areas that are Russian-speaking areas, frankly, but you could’ve worked a deal.”

However, as Baragona points out in his report, those disgusting and disturbing comments made by Trump never made it to the air when Hannity played the clip of the interview to his viewers.
“Instead, shortly after Trump says, ‘I could have negotiated,’ the audio quickly skips about 30 seconds of speaking time before picking back up where the former president pivots to his complaint that ‘China no longer respects the United States,'” Baragona writes.
The Beast reporter goes on to note that “besides asserting that he would have stopped Russia from invading Ukraine by making a deal to let them ‘take over something,’ Trump also said in the portion not aired by Fox that ‘so many more people are dying than is being reported’ while reiterating this ‘would have never happened’ under his watch.”
Funny how that works, huh?
