Donald Trump is clearly upset that Israel and Iran have not held up the ceasefire that Trump brokered and touted on Monday night, just two days after the U.S. launched an attack aiming at destroying Iran’s nuclear facilities. Almost immediately after the attack, Trump began declaring that now was the time for peace.

On Tuesday morning, when it became clear that Israel and Iran were still firing at each other despite the ceasefire, Trump dropped a rare f-bomb in front of reporters as he prepared to get on a helicopter.

“We’ve got two countries who’ve been fighting for so long and so hard, they don’t know what the f*** they’re doing,” the president said, as he prepared to get on Marine One, ahead of the NATO summit in Europe. Trump had also sent a series of Truth Social messages on Tuesday morning, in which he declared, of Israel, “DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!”

“I’m not happy with Israel,” Trump declared, adding “I’m not happy with Iran, either.”

While known for often using colorful language, Trump has not typically used f-bombs in his public rhetoric, especially not in front of reporters.

Also on Tuesday morning, Trump expressed anger at CNN and MSNBC for reporting with ambiguity over whether or not the strikes on Saturday had completely destroyed Iran’s nuclear facilities- and blamed those media outlets for the apparent collapse of the ceasefire.

“I think the reason we’re here is because those pilots, those B-2 pilots, did an unbelievable job, and you know, the fake news, like CNN in particular, they’re trying to say, ‘Well, I agree that it was destroyed but maybe not that destroyed,’” Trump said of the reporting on the initial strike. “You know what they’re doing? They’re really hurting great pilots that put their lives on the line. CNN is scum and some is MSNBC. And frankly, the networks aren’t much better, it’s all fake news.”
