General Reportedly Fears “The Army Has Gone Full MAGA” After Army Leader Was Allegedly Investigated For Defending Female Soldiers Against Tucker Carlson’s Disgusting Insults

This is beyond disturbing.

At least one Army General has been left with the deep-seated fear that “The Army has gone full MAGA,” — a clear and undeniable reference to scandal-ridden ex-President Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again “movement” that has rapidly devolved into little more than a cult slogan — after the Army’s top enlisted leader found himself buried in criticism following an Army investigation for daring to use his Twitter account openly defend female soldiers against disgusting, sexist remarks made by none other than Fox News’ Tucker Carlson.

In March of 2021, Fox’s Tucker Carlson found himself rather upset over inclusive remarks made by President Joe Biden regarding the United States military, and more specifically, women in key positions in the US armed forces.

“While China’s military becomes more masculine as it assembles the world’s largest Navy, our military needs to become, as Joe Biden says, more feminine — whatever feminine means anymore since men and women no longer exist,” Carlson fumed in the segment.

Business Insider reported on additional comments made by Carlson, in which he railed against new military policies providing maternity uniforms, “making it easier for women to pump breast milk on duty, and relaxing grooming standards to allow them to have ponytails and braids.” Carlson’s nauseating behavior and rhetoric ultimately led to Maj. Gen. Patrick Donahoe’s decision, also in March of 2021, to use his platform to defend women serving in the military and, more specifically, the United States Army.

Donahoe published a video on his Twitter that showed him honoring a female officer, with the caption, “just as a reminder that Tucker Carlson couldn’t be more wrong.”

Task & Purpose reported that Donahoe’s response to Tucker’s nasty, sexist rhetoric ignited “national media coverage” from the likes of Fox’s Laura Ingraham and Carlson himself, as well as two right-wing Indian news outlets, RepublicWorld.com and OpIndia.com.

The Inspector General report regarding Donahoe’s social media post in direct response to Tucker Carlson read, “While potentially admirable, his post brought a measurable amount of negative publicity to the Army, enough that [the Office of the Chief of Public Affairs] warned [the Secretary of the Army] of the fallout…. [His tweets] exhibited poor judgment… [and the] subsequent media coverage drew national attention … and it cast the Army in a negative light.”

Following the IG report, one Army general spoke to Military.com, under the condition of anonymity for fear of retaliation, and said, “Why would any women want to serve now? The Army gave a hunting permit to radical partisans… The Army has gone full MAGA.”

If that doesn’t send a chill down your spine, I truly don’t know what will.
