Just recently, we reported on a bombshell development from Vice, in which they released a letter sent to local law enforcement officials by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, indicating that it is “all but certain” that disgraced, scandal-ridden ex-President Donald Trump will be formally indicted on yet another round of criminal charges this coming summer, this time in connection to the DA’s massive election investigation into Donald Trump and his key allies in the state of Georgia.
The publication confirmed that DA Willis’ letter “formally asked local officials to beef up security during that window, when she plans to announce charging decisions in her long-running investigation of Trump’s attempt to reverse his 2020 election defeat in Georgia.”
But if that letter alone wasn’t enough to convince you of what’s soon to come for the scandal-ridden former president, it seems that Willis herself may have let something big slip out with regard to potential criminal charges in the massive Trump case during an interview earlier this week.
Not long after, the Fulton County DA sat for an interview with WABE, where she was questioned on whether or not she has made any final decisions with regard to formally criminally charging ex-President Donald Trump or any of his people following the bombshell recommendation from the Georgia grand jury for more than a dozen indictments in the case.

Willis responded, “I haven’t made any decisions regarding charging, at all, at least none that I’m willing to make public at this time.”
While it’s far from cold, hard confirmation, it certainly leads one to believe that DA Willis has, in fact, made some indictment-related decisions in the case, she’s just not yet willing to go public with them.
According to WABE, Willis intends to publicly announce her indictment decisions over the summer.
“No matter what decision I make in that case, emotions are going to be high, and people may want to do things that would be harmful,” Willis told the outlet. “I always tell my staff if you stay ready, you don’t have to get ready.”
The DA went on to seemingly make a thinly-veiled reference to Donald Trump’s historical Manhattan indictment, saying, “Well, certainly the citizens that elected the D.A. in Fulton have a district attorney that pays attention, so let’s just say I paid attention.”
“I do understand that the country is interested in this,” Willis said of her case against the ex-president in Georgia. “It’s always been interesting to me, like how much the country is paying attention. But for me, everyone is entitled to dignity. Everyone is entitled to being treated fairly. So we want to make sure that we don’t do anything differently in this case than we would in others.”
Donald Trump’s legal team has unsurprisingly all but begged a judge to dismiss and entirely shut down District Attorney Willis’ ongoing election investigation. As it stands, Willis has a deadline of May 15th to respond to the Trump motion in the case.
