While we still have no solid confirmation regarding the potential indictments yet to come from the recently concluded Georgia special grand jury investigation, cryptic remarks from the special grand jury’s forewoman point to damning news for scandal-ridden former President Donald Trump.

Recently, a heavily redacted version of the grand jury’s final report was publicly released, following the conclusion of their investigation into Donald Trump and his allies’ attempts to overthrow the results of the 2020 presidential election in the southern swing state that went Blue for Joe Biden. While much of the information contained in the final report remains under seal, reporting from the New York Times, citing confirmation from the special grand jury chairwoman, confirms that the jury has put forth indictment recommendations for multiple individuals involved in the case. However, it was specific comments from the forewoman that has left us wondering if Donald J. Trump’s name is on that list.

Georgia special grand jury forewoman Emily Kohrs confirmed that the list of names put forward by the jury recommending criminal indictments is a long one, though she did decline to confirm or deny the identities of any of those individuals, due to the fact that large portions of the report remain under seal.

However, when directly questioned as to whether or not the scandal-ridden ex-president’s name is on that list, Kohrs seemed to leave very little to the imagination: “You’re not going to be shocked. It’s not rocket science. You won’t be too surprised.”

The New York Times reports:

The investigation in Atlanta has been seen as one of the most significant legal threats to Mr. Trump as he begins another run for the presidency. In November, the Justice Department named a special counsel, Jack Smith, to oversee two Trump-related criminal investigations. And last month, the Manhattan district attorney’s office began presenting evidence to a grand jury on whether Mr. Trump paid hush money to a porn star during his 2016 presidential campaign, laying the groundwork for potential criminal charges against the former president in the coming months.”

The main subject of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ special grand jury investigation was Donald Trump’s infamous phone call with GA Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, in which the then-president all but ordered the state official to “find” the tens of thousands of votes he needed to overthrow Biden’s win in the Peach State.

“We definitely started with the first phone call, the call to Secretary Raffensperger that was so publicized,” Kohrs confirmed.

“I will tell you that if the judge releases the recommendations, it is not going to be some giant plot twist,” adding, “You probably have a fair idea of what may be on there. I’m trying very hard to say that delicately.”
