Just weeks after a deadly shootout involving federal agents in Minneapolis, new footage shows another violent encounter with law enforcement. Officials and witnesses report the incident occurred on a south Minneapolis street Saturday morning, raising alarm across the city.

Minneapolis police confirmed a shooting involving federal agents near West 26th Street and Nicollet Avenue South. A man was reportedly shot. Authorities said they are working to verify details and asked the public to stay away from the scene.

The video shows officers wrestling the man to the ground before one officer fires multiple shots. Bystanders can be heard shouting, honking, and recording as several agents point their weapons at the crowd.

Governor Tim Walz called the incident “sickening” and said he had spoken with the White House about it. He demanded that federal officers leave Minnesota, saying their presence is causing more harm than good.

This comes after the January 7 shooting of Renee Good, a Minnesota woman killed by a federal immigration officer. That case triggered protests and heated debate over federal enforcement in the state.

U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar called for answers and criticized Republicans in Congress who have stayed silent. County Commissioner Angela Conley described what she saw as “cold blooded murder.”

Democratic National Committee Chair Ken Martin posted on X: “What the actual f**k is going on in this country?”

Fox News reported that the U.S. Border Patrol was likely involved and that medics were attending the man. Video shows dozens of federal agents at the scene using chemical irritants against people nearby.

Protests in Minneapolis have intensified, with thousands of residents calling for the removal of federal personnel. Advocates demand investigations, release of all video footage, and reforms to enforcement practices.
