Former President Donald Trump certainly made quite the impression when he arrived at the Republican National Convention just a couple of weeks ago with a very large, very noticeable white gauze bandage covering almost the entirety of his right ear — just days after he was targeted in an assassination attempt at his Pennsylvania rally that left him with a minor flesh wound to the top of his ear where he was grazed by an AR-15 bullet fired from a nearby rooftop by 20-year-old deceased shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks.
Donald’s ear bandage left such an impression on attendees of the event, in fact, that many of them showed up to the remainder of the convention with makeshift ear bandages of their own, constructed from white paper and various other materials in what was apparently an attempt to show solidarity toward the injured 2024 Republican presidential nominee.
However, people were quick to notice that the former president lost the bandage entirely just shortly after the Republican National Convention was over.
This afternoon, Trump held a self-announced, impromptu presser event at his Palm Beach Mar-a-Lago golf resort and post-White House home, where a reporter seized the opportunity to ask the former president about his lack of a bandage on his ear that seems to already be entirely healed now.

“Pretty much recovered, yea,” Trump said with a nod in response to the reporter’s question about his ear. “I’m a fast healer. It’s a hell of a shot. But I’m a fast healer.”
“It just hit the lobe, as they call it,” Trump said, as he pointed to his right ear before telling supporters that there was “not much” of a scar left behind from the injury.
