Insecure Trump Touts Poll That Shows Him Beating DeSantis By A Large Margin After Shocking New Hampshire Poll

Just when you thought he couldn't get any more childish.

Florida’s unhinged governor Ron DeSantis is frankly spanking Donald Trump when it comes to a potential 2024 presidential run, and the ex-president is not handling it well.

Trump put his own insecurities on full display today after he touted an outlier poll that showed him crushing the controversial FL state leader by a whopping 42 points, on the heels of a bombshell New Hampshire poll that leaned heavily on the DeSantis side and sparked a lot of buzz across the nation.

Between yesterday and today, you’d be hard-pressed to find a publication that didn’t boast a headline featuring the new state poll from The University of New Hampshire Survey Center that showed the FL governor absolutely destroying the one-term, twice-impeached former guy, not only in a battle against Joe Biden but when matched up head-to-head against Donald Trump as well. The poll was so brutal that it even ended in MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough calling Trump a “fat Elvis.”

The washed-up former guy was, unsurprisingly, not about to take that lying down.

With nothing more than a pathetic outlier poll in his corner, Donald took to his floundering social media platform, Truth Social, to post an image of a tweet from PollProjectUSA promoting a Zogby poll that showed him in the lead over DeSantis. If that weren’t pathetic enough for you, he also blasted an email out to his supporters with the same info.

Trump didn’t include a link in his “Truth,” but the original tweet links to an article from the Washington Examiner on the topic of the poll,  which, as it turns out, boasts a minuscule sample size of only 408 that utilizes a “likely voter” model with a whopping margin of error of plus or minus 4.9 points.

While Donald Trump does typically dominate the FL governor in nearly every Republican primary poll, DeSantis pretty much destroys the former president in a Trump-less race. Even this is terrible news for Donald Trump, who would obviously prefer he was never challenged at all.
