Inside Trump’s Jaw-Dropping Message To Marjorie Taylor Greene After Death Threats Emerged

Power without care

What began as a political fallout between Donald Trump and Marjorie Taylor Greene has now turned into something far more disturbing.

A feud that once played out through policy disagreements and public insults has crossed into threats against a child and a response from Trump that many see as cold and reckless.

Greene was once one of Trump’s earliest and loudest supporters. She defended him publicly, echoed his attacks, and stayed loyal when others walked away. That loyalty did not protect her when their relationship collapsed earlier this year.

After the split, Greene told The New York Times that she began receiving hateful messages. One stood out immediately. The subject line used a nickname Trump had given her just a day earlier: “Marjorie Traitor Greene.”

The message did not stop there. It reportedly warned, “Derek will have his life snuffed out soon,” referring to her son, who is in college. It added, “Better watch his back.” This was not political noise. It was a direct threat.

Greene sent the message to Trump. She wanted him to know what his rhetoric had triggered. She expected concern. She expected a line to be drawn.

That did not happen.

“According to a source familiar with the exchange, his long reply made no mention of her son,” the Times reported. That absence said more than words ever could.

Trump did respond, but not with care. “Instead, Trump insulted her in personal terms,” the report said. When Greene replied that children should be off limits, Trump answered that she had only herself to blame.

That response stunned many who read it. A threat against a child was met with insults and deflection.

This behavior did not come out of nowhere. Greene and Trump had been clashing for months. She broke with him on airstrikes on Iran, aid to Ukraine, and his refusal to act as health care subsidies near expiration. Each disagreement widened the gap.

The final break appears to have come over the Epstein files. Greene pushed for more transparency. Trump saw it as betrayal. In November, he cut ties and went on the attack, calling her a “lunatic” and urging an end to her political career.

Greene later confirmed the danger publicly. In an interview with 60 Minutes, she said she had received several death threats, including “several” aimed at her son. She said they were “directly fueled by President Trump.”
