If you checked Truth Social on Saturday, you already know it wasn’t a quiet day.
In the space of roughly an hour, Donald Trump posted 32 times, shared an AI image of himself dressed as Elvis Presley in a bedazzled rhinestone USA suit, posted a map with an American flag draped over Venezuela, shared a rendering of his face looming over Greenland, posed alongside a grey alien at what appeared to be Area 51, and floated the idea of running for a third presidential term.
The Elvis image set the tone. Full rhinestone suit, signature quiff, the unmistakable silhouette of the King of Rock and Roll entirely repurposed around the current occupant of the Oval Office. No caption accompanied it, which was probably the right editorial call.

The internet, predictably, had plenty of captions of its own.

Let’s be at least a little more realistic here.

That wasn’t where the posting spree ended.
The Area 51 post appeared soon after, showing Trump walking across a military airfield alongside a handcuffed silver skinned extraterrestrial, with additional images depicting him seated at what appeared to be a space based military control station.

This arrived just weeks after the Pentagon declassified over 100 UFO documents featuring photographs and footage of unexplained aerial phenomena, a coincidence Trump apparently found worth acknowledging in the most Trump way available.
The territorial ambitions, though, carried more geopolitical weight than the alien imagery. The Venezuela post showed a South American map with the American flag superimposed over the country, a visual that lands differently now that Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife are in U.S. custody facing federal charges including narco-terrorism and drug trafficking.

Greenland wasn’t left out either.
The next image showed Trump’s face looming over the island, arriving only weeks after he revived annexation talk at the NATO summit in Ankara, where he reportedly told European leaders that acquiring Greenland remained a priority regardless of their objections.
