Internet Brutally Mocks Donald Trump, Questions “Cognitive Decline” Following His Downright Embarrassing Comments About How Magnets Work

Yea. That's... Not how it works, buddy.

Donald Trump has earned himself brutal mockery from the World Wide Web yet again after he opened his mouth and proved his staggering level of stupidity beyond a shadow of a doubt by letting the whole world know that he hasn’t a single, solitary clue how a simple magnet works.

Trump’s embarrassing blunder came during one of his recent rallies when he broke the cardinal rule of not discussing a topic that you don’t know a damn thing about. That particular topic happened to be so-called “magnetic elevators.” However, when it comes to Donald Trump, it truly could have been something as simple as the primary colors or basic addition and subtraction and it would’ve been more than enough to stump the big guy.

Donald opened the topic by announcing that he is largely ignorant of the way a basic magnet works, before going on to clear all doubt that he is, in fact, completely ignorant on the matter.

“They had an almost billion-dollar cost over on the magnetic elevators,” Trump told the crowd during the recent Iowa event. “Think of it. Magnets. Now, all I know about magnets is this: give me a glass of water, let me drop it on the magnets. That’s the end of the magnets.”

Buddy, that is… Not how that works. That is not how that works… At all.

Suffice it to say, the internet wasted no time in taking the big guy to task over his blatant display of ignorance:

Washington Bureau Chief for The Daily Beast, Matt Fuller, raised the glaring question: “Imagine if Joe Biden said this,” while Vanity Fair columnist Molly Jong-Fast kept it simple and straightforward with the comment, “Cognitive decline.”

You really and truly cannot make this stuff up.
