It Seems Trump’s Own Former Nat. Sec. Advisor Is So Desperate To Stop His Old Boss, He Is “Prepared To Get In The Race” Just To Derail Ex-President’s 2024 Campaign

To be frank, short of the likes of the GOP’s three stooges — Marjorie Taylor Greene, Matt Gaetz, and Jim Jordan — no one has been exactly thrilled about Donald Trump’s recent inevitable, official 2024 presidential campaign launch. In fact, quite the opposite, really. The support among the Republican party for the man who was once considered the de facto leader and kingmaker of the GOP has been… Lackluster, to say the very least.

No one of any semblance of importance within the Republican Party has any interest whatsoever in another Trump campaign run or 4-year presidential term. People are just done with the corrupt, one-term, twice-impeached, scandal-ridden washup of a former US president.

But when it comes to former Trump-era National Security Advisor John Bolton, he’s taking that disdain a step further still when he openly confirmed that he is fully prepared to actually run for president on the Republican ticket for the 2024 election in an effort to derail his former boss’ campaign, on the heels of Donald Trump’s open and blatant call to “terminate” the United States Consitution, as part of his ongoing demands that he be reinstated to the office of the US presidency.

Recently, Bolton made an appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press Now with network host Kristen Welker, where the former National Security official said he may ultimately feel required by duty to throw his own hat into the 2024 ring in an effort to bring Trump’s 2024 bid to a heel.

“I think to be a presidential candidate you can’t simply say I support the Constitution, you have to say I would oppose people who would undercut it,” Bolton said on the segment. “We used to have a thing in the House of Representatives called the House Un-American Affairs Committee. I think when you challenge the Constitution itself the way Trump himself has done, that is un-American.”

Welker was noticeably surprised by Bolton’s statement, going on to ask the former Trump official, “What does your timeline look like? What would cause you to cross into saying what you’re saying now and actually being a declared candidate for president?”

Bolton ultimately said that everyone in the Republican Party is painfully aware of Trump’s borderline treasonous declaration about the Constitution, but he fears that in the end, no one will have the gumption to go head to head with the unhinged former president, which would require them to publicly disavow Donald Trump.

As far as his timeline goes, Bolton said that he will wait and see what others do. If he doesn’t soon see viable candidates being floated among the chatter as Donald Trump’s ultimate Republican opponent, then he will make a formal announcement and take the beast on himself.

“I’m prepared to get in the race,” Bolton said.
