Ivanka Trump is glowing over both her dad and her husband Jared Kushner after Hamas and Israel agreed to a peace deal to end the war in Gaza.

“I want to thank my father @realDonaldTrump for his unbending leadership in bringing real hope for lasting peace to a region that has known so much pain and heartbreak,” she wrote on X.

She also praised her husband and envoy Steve Witkoff: “Deeply proud of my husband @jaredkushner and Steve Witkoff, whose vision and perseverance remind us that even in the darkest moments, progress is possible.”

Kushner and Witkoff spent days in Egypt sorting out the deal after the first phase was announced on Wednesday. Ivanka, who became Jewish to marry Kushner, said their hard work gives families hope for safety and a better future.

She concluded with her personal hopes: “I won’t fully celebrate until every hostage has been returned and peace prevails. But I hold on to hope that one day we will dance again, and maybe even dance together. Praying for healing, unity, and lasting peace.”

While some praised her post, many others were quick to call out the hypocrisy.

Meanwhile, President Trump confirmed he plans to travel to Egypt for the official signing and expects Hamas to release hostages on Monday or Tuesday. At a cabinet meeting Thursday, he said the deal “ended the war in Gaza” and could open the door for broader peace in the Middle East.

“We’ve secured the remaining hostages,” Trump said. “They should be released Monday or Tuesday.”

Trump has been coordinating his Middle East trip even before the deal was officially announced. He also mentioned he may address the Israeli parliament and join celebrations in Egypt.

He didn’t give many details about the next phase or Gaza’s future, but noted plans for “disarming” and “pullbacks.” He also hinted that wealthy Arab states might help rebuild Gaza and possibly assist with peacekeeping.

Trump did not comment on his Nobel Peace Prize chances—but you can bet he’s thinking about it.

Cabinet officials rushed to praise the president, led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Rubio even handed Trump a note Wednesday saying a deal was close.

“Frankly, I don’t know of any American president in the modern era that could have made this possible,” Rubio said. He hinted at intense phone calls with Netanyahu and efforts to rally Arab states to pressure Hamas.

“One day, perhaps the entire story will be told,” Rubio added. “The president had some extraordinary phone calls and meetings that required a high degree of intensity and commitment and made this happen.”
