Jared Kushner Appears To Get Snippy With Face The Nation Host After She Asks Him Questions He Doesn’t Seem To Want To Address

Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner doesn’t like being challenged by women either as evidenced by his snippy attitude toward Face The Nation anchor Margaret Brennan when she did not ask him about what he wanted to talk about right away.

The Trump administration has been making a big deal out of a recently announced peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates even though it does nothing to actually bring peace to the region considering the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians is still ongoing.

If anything, it appears to be a flimsy agreement between two of our close allies that Trump cooked up in an effort to make himself and Kushner look like they are achieving Middle East peace. It’s just a matter of waiting to see when the quid pro quo will drop.

Kushner wanted to gloat about the agreement during an interview on CBS, but Brennan had other questions concerning the coronavirus pandemic and Trump’s war on the Postal Service.

“Do you believe the administration has control of the virus, and what do you think you’ve done wrong?” Brennan asked.

Kushner immediately became snippy.

“I came on today to talk about the historic breakthrough that the president achieved for peace in the Middle East,” Kushner whined. “This has been a strategy we’ve been working on for the past three and a half years.”

But Brennan did not back down and asked Kushner about the safety of children as Trump continues to push for schools to reopen.

“Children have a six times higher chance to die from the flu than from the coronavirus,” Kushner claimed. “So based on the data I’ve seen, I don’t believe that is a risk.”

Of course, Kushner conveniently ignored the fact that children who do contract the virus will pass it on to adults such as teachers and family members, some of whom could die. Even children have died from this virus so they aren’t safe either, especially if they have underlying medical issues.

“I want to ask you about the election before we go to the Middle East,” Brennan moved on. “Are you worried you may disfranchise some of your voters by not giving aid to the postal service now?”

Once again, Kushner looked annoyed and became snippy again.

“Okay, again, I hope we’ll get to talk about Middle East peace in a minute, but I’ll- I’ll give you a quick answer on that,” Kushner replied. “I have a friend in New Jersey who just got married, and she got sent two ballots, one in her old name and one in her new name. I think what President Trump wants is a fair system.”

So, that’s not an example of fraud. It’s a mistake that would be sorted out. In fact, voter fraud is extremely rare in the United States, and several states have voted by mail for years with very few problems.

“You’re not afraid this could backfire on your own campaign?” Brennan asked.

“Look, we have a great operation. We’re very confident. We’re in much better shape than in 2016,” Kushner said before getting pissy once more. “We think we have a great opportunity. Again, just like President Trump achieved the historic Middle East deal, which I hope we’ll get to talk about.”

It should be pointed out that Trump is losing to Joe Biden in the polls, including in every battleground state. Trump’s campaign is definitely not in good shape.

Brennan finally asked Kushner about the Middle East but noted that the agreement does not address the main source of tensions in the region.

“On the Middle East, there were hostilities overnight in Gaza,” she said. “There were Israeli airstrikes. Palestinian militants fired off rockets. Doesn’t this underscore that the core conflict in the region remains unaddressed with what you just negotiated? And what is your response? I mean, do you have outreach right now to the Palestinian Authority and to the region?”

A still snippy Kushner replied, “well that’s a very negative framing.”
