According to yet another tell-all book coming out on Trumpโs four-year reign of terror in the White House, Donaldโs son-in-law and advisor Jared Kushner once got into โan intense argumentโ with Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel just ahead of the 2020 election and used the opportunity to make it clear that he didnโt give โa f*ck* about the Republican party and its future.
An excerpt of Michael Benderโs new book, Frankly, We Did Win This Election: The Inside Story of How Trump Lost, published by Fox News details the fight between Kushner and McDaniel in the lobby of the Trump International Hotel in Washington, DC.
โI donโt give a fโ about the future of the Republican Party!โ Kushner allegedly fumed at the RNC chair.
Leading up to the Kushner eruption, the RNC had allegedly become closely intertwined with the Trump campaign, during the days of Brad Parscale.

Bender pens, โBy 2020, the RNC wasnโt merely an extension of the Trump campaign. (2020 campaign manager) Brad Parscale had effectively turned them into a full partner, and Ronna had become one of the presidentโs closest advisers. The RNC was paying for the field staff. They were covering costs for state directors who couldnโt get calls returned from campaign headquarters. Even the lease for the campaign headquarters was being paid for by the RNC.โ
Parscale was, of course, demoted from his position (which ultimately turned into quite the mess) and was replaced with Kushner ally Bill Stepien. This move allegedly miffed McDaniel, who had beef with Stepien hailing from a clash between the two of them during the 2016 Trump campaign, according to the book.
Bender writes that this ultimately led to โtensions at the highest level of Trump World that finally exploded into an intense argument between Ronna and Jared inside the Trump Hotel.โ
McDaniel was apparently already being excluded from key strategy meetings and Kushner allegedly made a bad situation that much worse when he โconsideredโ taking charge on the RNCโs online fundraising platform, WinRed, because he โdidnโt think the RNC could pull off the new operation.โ
McDaniel tried to convince Jared that the platform โ which was forced to refund a staggering $122 million in online donations from people who were essentially tricked into exceeding the federal limit on individual donations โ could serve as the perfect โlegacy projectโ for the GOP, but Jared Kushner wasnโt buying what she was selling.
โJared wasnโt interested,โ the excerpt reads. โโI donโt give a fโ about the future of the Republican Party!โ he told Ronna inside the hotel meeting room. โGood to know,โ Ronna shot back. โI will be running for chair for a second term, and I will make sure you donโt come anywhere near this!'โ
Benderโs book officially hits the shelves on July 13th.
