Jen Psaki Brilliantly Responds To Reporter Who Asked Why Biden Visits His Delaware Home So Frequently: "You Like Going Home Right? So Does The President"

Former President Donald Trump made a lot of money from the Secret Service by charging them to stay at his hotels and resorts. In fact, the twice-impeached one-term president is still profiting from them. And, of course, we’re footing the bill. According to records obtained by the Washington Post, the Secret Service was charged almost $10,200 for guest rooms agents used for several dates in May at the former president’s New Jersey golf club. According to the outlet, since Trump left office, the Secret Service has paid more than $50,000 to Trump-affiliated businesses and resorts.

OK, so we don’t take issue with vacations or weekends spent at home, but the former guy is still profiting from his presidency on our dime. A reporter asked White House press secretary Jen Psaki why President Joe Biden goes to his home in Delaware.

“Why is it important for the President to visit his Delaware residence so frequently?” a reporter asked Psaki.

“Because it’s his home,” Psaki shot back. “You like going home, right? So does the President. He’s human, too.”

Former President Donald Trump played golf 308 times in the four years he was in office. Trump spent nearly 21 percent of his days in office at one of his golf properties for some portion of the day. During Trump’s first 100 days in office, he golfed at least 19 times. Former President Barack Obama golfed once during his first 100 days, and Joe Biden golfed once during that time, but do go off about the president spending his weekends at his home in Delaware.

What an absolutely ridiculous question, especially after what we had to endure with the previous administration. Trump’s visits to his Florida resort, Mar-a-Lago, wouldn’t have been an issue if the former president didn’t profit from the Secret Service. And now that Psaki said that Biden “is human,” we can expect Fox News and OAN to take a deep dive into that.
