Jen Psaki has been serving as President Joe Biden’s White House Press Secretary for more than a year now. In that time, she has more than proven herself as a competent, educated, knowledgeable individual who is absolutely perfect for the position she was chosen for. She has also proved time and time again that she is not one to be messed with.
Over this past year, Psaki has brutally put everyone from Fox News reporters to congress members, to ex-presidents, to Republican governors right in their place, without so much as batting an eyelash.
This time, Marco Rubio and Ron DeSantis found out the hard way.
Today, Psaki brutally called out the GOP senator and Republican Florida governor for their audacity to whine and complain about not getting enough infrastructure cash, yet continually opposing President Biden’s infrastructure bill that would give them the cash they so desperately need.

Responding to the duo’s complaints during today’s presser, Psaki said, “That’s pretty rich, isn’t it? I would say, first, the Everglades funding, I don’t have it in front of me, but I think it’s in the billions if I’m correct you may have the exact number. Okay. There was also an enormous — I mentioned this a little bit yesterday — 90% of the competitive funding that’s available will go to localities, territories, others who can apply for it. That’s why we put out this big book just a few days ago.”
“So people who know the criteria where they can apply for that funding, you know, I think when Mitch Landrieu was here, I think he quoted Nancy Pelosi. Now I can’t even remember it. Point is, even if you vote against it, you still want the money. We’ve seen that over the course of time. That’s just how political these votes were given this is funding that will help rebuild a lot of these communities, the president will certainly make it clear who was with him and who wasn’t with him.”
In case Rubio and DeSantis didn’t quite catch that, she means shut the Hell up unless you plan to get behind the very bill that will solve your problem.
